Inland:
We continue to observe small increases in inland transportation. Regarding availability, the market remains stable, with a delay of 15 – 20 days for direct cases with the carrier and 7 days with dedicated service (possibly less).
Maritime DRY:
Cosco’s own service (in partnership with ONE) began operating in September – the first ship departed from the port of Rotterdam on September 21st. Other carriers have also reduced their freight rates. We have not encountered any issues with equipment availability. Maersk has rolled over some cargo, while other carriers are adhering to the schedule.
Maritime Reefer:
Rates have decreased, although not in line with DRY rates. For more efficient negotiations, it’s essential to always inform the shipper and provide the volume.
Additional Information:
There is a downward trend in freight rates expected in the coming months following the launch of the new Cosco/ONE service.
France:
There are no space issues for FOB shipments. For EXW cases, it is advisable to plan in advance to ensure that collection can be made on the desired date (approximately 2 weeks in advance).
